Please welcome our new 5th/6th grade LD/BD teacher, Brittany Scott. She is from Marion, IA. This is her second year as a teacher. Last year she taught at FMI. She decided to go into teaching because she was an associate for 5 years and absolutely loved it, and wanted to play a greater roll. She chose to work at a middle school because it’s a fun age! She has a ten year old who is also at Vernon this year. She just had a baby in June. She got married in April and a few months ago got a new dog.
Interesting Fact: She was on the Five seasons water ski team growing up and now her daughter and husband were first time members this last summer.
