Please welcome our new 7th/8th grade special education teacher, Zaq Recker. They are originally from Anamosa, IA. Zaq taught for 4 years at Center Point Urbana High School. They graduated from Mount Mercy University. They decided to get into teaching because they always played school with their siblings and it just made sense. Zaq decided to work at a middle school to try something new!
Zaq comes from a big family. They have 11 siblings. They have a 7 year old son who is in second grade this year. They have two dogs, three cats, and two ducks. They like to read and nap in their free time. They also love to sing and go for long drives.
Interesting Fact: My pet ducks are named Ducky and Quackers.
