Take your child for a visit and help them find their next book to read. Visiting the library is both educational and fun for the entire family. Dine Out For Our Schools is Thursday, September 19th! Promotion applies ALL DAY and includes dine-in, take-out and delivery unless otherwise indicated! DINE OUT at these restaurants and up to 20% of your total bill will be donated to our School Foundations.

✨ We welcome Sheryl Hawkins as a Supervising Teacher at MHSAP! Sheryl has degrees in Music Education, has been married to her husband, Jeff, for almost 33 years, and they have four children together. They have been a part of MISD for 21 years. Sheryl says she is looking forward to meeting more families and helping them on their educational journey. We are thrilled to have you!

✨ We welcome Laura Bigler as a Science Enrichment Teacher at MHSAP! Laura is an ISU graduate and has previously taught high school science before staying at home to take care of her children. She is looking forward to meeting MHSAP students and families and seeing the opportunities MHSAP provides. Laura says, "I have a passion for science and hands-on learning and love sharing this enthusiasm with others." We are thrilled to have you!

✨ We welcome Hannah Prihoda as an MHSAP Supervising Teacher! Hannah is a proud MHSAP alumna, mom, and now teacher. She was homeschooled, earned her teaching degree from Mount Mercy University, and taught in both public and private schools for four years before starting a family with her husband, Luke. Hannah says, "MHSAP is such a caring community and empowers families to meet their individual students' needs." We are thrilled to have you!

Our MISD Summer Meals Program is still going strong! 🍏 Families with children 18 and under can visit Starry Elementary Monday-Friday for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is from 8:30 to 9:30am and lunch is from 11:30am to 1:00pm. We welcome ALL families, so feel free to stop by!

All kids 18 and under receive FREE meals through the MISD Summer Meals Program! 🌞🍎 Meals are served Monday-Friday in the Starry Elementary cafeteria. Breakfast is from 8:30 to 9:30am, and lunch is from 11:30am to 1:00pm. No need to sign up. #MISDInspire #MISDOwnYourFuture
