MHSAP families recently got to see firsthand the process of printing graphics on shirts when we visited the Cotton Gallery in Marion. Did you know that the Cotton Gallery is a national chain and its biggest customer is Walmart? Many of us probably have something in our closet that was produced right here in Marion. We saw the machines and the screen-printing process of a piece of clothing from start to finish. In addition, we see how certain pieces of clothing are embroidered. And finally, we got to not only see the huge warehouse that stores their overflow and that holds their infamous warehouse sale, but students were each generously allowed to pick a shirt to take with them!
