USDA Extends Free Breakfast and Lunch for all students through June 30, 2021
On October 13, 2020 The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) extended its program to
provide free meals to all students throughout the 2020-2021 school year under the Summer
Food Service Program. The extension helps to ensure all children have access to nutritious
meals as the nation recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic.

*Please continue to complete free and reduced meal applications for additional school benefits
*Marion Independent School District is offering free breakfast and lunch to all children
*In person students are served meals in their school
*Virtual students may pick up meals at a Grab and Go location
Grab and Go Location:
*All Grab and Go meals can be picked up Mon-Fri from 10:30-11:00 am at the South side of
Marion High School. No student IDs are needed. Families can pick up all virtual students meals
at this location
